INTERVIEW GUIDE

Satin pants

THE SECRET TO A GARMENT THAT LASTS DEPENDS ON THE MATERIALS USED, ITS QUALITY OF MANUFACTURE AND ALSO ON THE MAINTENANCE PROVIDED TO IT. MAISON CQFD GIVES YOU ALL THE KEYS, ADVICE AND TRICKS TO KEEP YOUR SATIN PANTS FOR YEARS AND PASS THEM ON AS AN HEIRLOOM, THANKS TO THIS DETAILED CARE GUIDE.

THE MATERIAL

The CQFD loose satin pants are made from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council®) certified acetate and viscose satin. Woven and dyed in Italy, this material made from natural fibers was selected by Maison CQFD for its properties similar to silk: silky touch, slight shine and fluidity. The chosen satin is dense and thick (with a weight of 200 g/m2 for the black color and 215 g/m2 for the ivory), to guarantee perfect opacity.

For greater comfort, the ivory satin pants are lined with tone-on-tone silk, woven in France and from the dormant stock of a major fashion house.

WASHING

Satin pants are a delicate garment. Machine washing is therefore prohibited.

In the event of a small stain, you can opt for precise cleaning of the area concerned by gently tapping with water using a pattemouille of the same color. If necessary, add a little detergent and then rinse at the stain, avoiding soaking the entire piece.

For the ivory color, complete hand washing is prohibited, because the silk lining is a delicate material. To take the best care of it, be sure to take it to a professional for moderate dry cleaning with restrictions.

For the black color, hand washing in cold or lukewarm water is permitted. In this case, wash your satin pants inside out and don't let them soak in water for too long.
Moderate dry cleaning with restrictions is recommended.

Do not bleach.

DRYING

Do not tumble dry.

If you choose to wash by hand (valid only for the black color), be careful not to twist the garment, as this could damage the acetate and viscose fibers. You can wring it out very gently and immediately restore its shape.
To clean a small stain, use a cloth of the same color and tap to absorb excess water.

Dry the pants on a clip hanger to prevent creases.

As with any clothing made from natural fiber, avoid drying your CQFD pants near a direct heat source (radiator, towel dryer, etc.).

IRONING

For an impeccable result, choose gentle ironing (“silk” or low temperature program) on the reverse side to maintain the shine of the satin. Iron your pants while they are still damp to avoid wrinkles.

The use of a steam generator is authorized to remove wrinkles from your clothing.

TIDYING UP

To minimize creases on your CQFD satin pants, store them on a hanger.

Always store your clothes away from sunlight and moonlight.

Additional Tips

- Do not cut the labels to always remember the composition of your garment and the right actions to adopt to take care of it. If you decide to part with it, this will guarantee its quality to its new owner as well as its recyclability.

- Prioritize maintenance and repair: in the event of a small tear or the creation of a hole in your satin pants, go directly to a retoucher. If you need a button or component to repair your CQFD garment, send your request to the following address: contact@cqfd.com
