THE SECRET TO LASTING CLOTHING DEPENDS ON THE MATERIALS USED, ITS QUALITY OF MANUFACTURE AND THE MAINTENANCE PROVIDED TO IT. MAISON CQFD GIVES YOU ALL THE KEYS, ADVICE AND TRICKS TO KEEP YOUR COTTON T-SHIRT FOR YEARS AND PASS IT ON AS AN HERITAGE, THANKS TO THIS DETAILED CARE GUIDE.
THE MATERIAL
The white CQFD t-shirt is made from GOTS certified organic cotton jersey. This magnificent cotton, knitted in France, is thick (200 g/m2) and resistant to guarantee the durability of the garment over time as well as its opacity. The slightly “oversized” cut of the t-shirt and its soft material ensure optimal comfort.
The high collar is made from a robust cotton jacquard, designed to hold up wash after wash without losing its shape.
WASHING
The cotton t-shirt is an easy-to-maintain item.
To take the greatest care of it, wash your t-shirt inside out in the machine at 30° on a delicate cycle, only with other white clothes. Use a washing net to protect the fabric from friction.
Dry cleaning with restrictions is possible.
Do not bleach.
DRYING
Do not tumble dry.
Prefer a moderate spin in the machine then straighten the t-shirt after the cycle before drying it flat or on a thick hanger, in the open air.
Do not wring by hand to avoid breaking the cotton fibers.
Avoid drying your CQFD t-shirt in direct sunlight, which tends to yellow white clothing.
IRONING
The quality of cotton selected by Maison CQFD allows the t-shirt to be worn easily without ironing.
For an impeccable result, choose gentle ironing on the reverse side, at a maximum temperature of 150°. You can also use a steam generator.
TIDYING UP
To minimize creases on the cotton t-shirt, store it folded or on a hanger.
Always store your clothes away from sunlight and moonlight.
- The cotton sourced by Maison CQFD for its t-shirt is a bright optical white, which enhances the complexion and goes just as well with jeans as it does with suit pants . To revive its shine, add white vinegar to your machine. Do not chemically bleach.
- Do not cut the labels to always remember the composition of your garment and the right actions to adopt to take care of it. If you decide to part with it, this will guarantee its quality to its new owner as well as its recyclability.
- Prioritize maintenance and repair: in the event of a small tear or the creation of a hole in your t-shirt, go directly to a retoucher. If you need a button or component to repair your CQFD garment, send your request to the following address: contact@cqfd.com
