The satin top

THE MATERIAL
The CQFD satin top is made from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council®) certified acetate and viscose satin. Woven and dyed in Italy, this material made from natural fibers was selected by Maison CQFD for its properties similar to silk: silky touch, slight shine and fluidity. The chosen satin is dense and thick (with a weight of 200 g/m2 for the black color and 215 g/m2 for the ivory), to guarantee perfect opacity. For added comfort, the satin top is lined in the same material on the front.
The brass finishes are gilded with fine 24 carat gold.
WASHING
The satin top is a delicate garment. Machine washing is therefore not recommended.
Hand washing in cold or lukewarm water is permitted. In this case, wash your satin top inside out and don't let it soak in water for too long.
To take the greatest care of it, moderate dry cleaning with restrictions by a professional remains the most suitable solution.
Do not bleach.
DRYING
Do not tumble dry.
If you choose to wash by hand, be careful not to twist the garment, as this could damage the acetate and viscose fibers. Prefer to use a fabric of the same color, tapping it to absorb excess water. Dry the top on a hanger to prevent creases.
As with any natural fiber garment, avoid drying your CQFD top near a direct heat source (radiator, towel dryer, etc.).
IRONING
For an impeccable result, choose gentle ironing (“silk” or low temperature program) on the reverse side to maintain the shine of the satin. Iron your top while it is still damp to avoid creases.
The use of a steam generator is authorized to remove wrinkles from your clothing.
TIDYING UP
To minimize creases on your CQFD top, store it on a hanger.
Always store your clothes away from sunlight and moonlight.
Additional Tips
- Do not cut the labels to always remember the composition of your garment and the right actions to adopt to take care of it. If you decide to part with it, this will guarantee its quality to its new owner as well as its recyclability.
