Exceptional cashmere

THE MATERIAL
Maison CQFD has selected for its first winter sweater grade A cashmere, the highest quality available, spun in one of the finest spinning mills in Italy already working for major luxury houses. These fibers, of exceptional quality, are harvested then sorted by hand in Inner Mongolia, with respect for Hircus goats and local breeders. All fibers are tested before being shipped to Italy, where they are checked and tested again before spinning, ensuring incomparable quality and a cashmere sweater that does not pill over time.
WASHING
Exceptional CQFD cashmere is a simple garment to maintain, thanks to the quality of its long, fine and silky grade A fibers.
Cashmere likes water, so machine washing is possible, separately or with similar colors, only in “hand program” or “wool program” with a special wool detergent, without softener and in a net. You can also wash your cashmere sweater by hand following the same recommendations or take it to a professional for wet cleaning.
DRYING
After machine or hand washing, remove excess water from your cashmere sweater using a terry towel, pressing gently. Dry your sweater flat between two cotton towels out of direct sunlight or moonlight. Halfway through drying, turn your cashmere piece over.
IRONING
If necessary, you can iron your cashmere sweater to smooth it out and restore its shape. Iron it gently on the reverse side with a soft iron.
TIDYING UP
Do not hang your sweater on a hanger, this will loosen the stitch and distort your piece. Fold it carefully and store it with a natural moth repellent like cedar, in a dry, ventilated place.
Always store your clothes away from sunlight and moonlight.
Additional Tips
- Do not cut the labels to always remember the composition of your garment and the right actions to adopt to take care of it. If you decide to part with it, this will also guarantee its quality to its new owner, or allow its recycling.
