THE SECRET TO LASTING CLOTHING DEPENDS ON THE MATERIALS USED, ITS QUALITY OF MANUFACTURE AND THE MAINTENANCE PROVIDED TO IT. MAISON CQFD GIVES YOU ALL THE KEYS, ADVICE AND TRICKS TO KEEP YOUR SATIN SHIRT DRESS FOR YEARS AND PASS IT ON AS AN HERITAGE, THANKS TO THIS DETAILED CARE GUIDE.
THE MATERIAL
The CQFD shirt dress is made from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council®) certified acetate and viscose satin-backed crepe. Woven and dyed in Italy, this material made from natural fibers was selected by Maison CQFD for its properties similar to silk: silky touch, slight shine and fluidity. The satin chosen is dense and thick (with a weight of 200 g/m2 for the black color and 215 g/m2 for the brick color), to guarantee perfect opacity.
WASHING
The satin dress is a delicate garment.
To take the best care of it, machine wash it inside out at 30°C on a delicate cycle, with similar colors. Use a washing net to protect the fabric from friction.
Hand washing in cold or lukewarm water is permitted. In this case, wash your dress inside out and don't let it soak in water for too long.
Moderate dry cleaning with restrictions is permitted.
Do not bleach.
DRYING
Do not tumble dry.
Prefer moderate spin in the machine. When leaving the cycle, be careful not to twist the garment, as this could damage the acetate and viscose fibers. Prefer to use a fabric of the same color, patting it to absorb excess water if necessary. Dry the shirt dress on a hanger to prevent creases, closing all the buttons.
As with any clothing made from natural fiber, avoid drying your CQFD shirt dress near a direct heat source (radiator, towel dryer, etc.).
IRONING
Maison CQFD has selected an almost wrinkle-free acetate and viscose satin to make its shirt dress.
For an impeccable result, choose gentle ironing (“silk” or low temperature program) on the reverse side to maintain the shine of the satin. Iron your dress while it is still damp to avoid wrinkles.
The use of a steam generator is authorized to remove wrinkles from your clothing.
TIDYING UP
To minimize wrinkles on your CQFD shirt dress, store it on a hanger.
Always store your clothes away from sunlight and moonlight.
- Do not cut the labels to always remember the composition of your garment and the right actions to adopt to take care of it. If you decide to part with it, this will guarantee its quality to its new owner as well as its recyclability.
- Prioritize maintenance and repair: in the event of a small tear or the creation of a hole in your satin dress, go directly to a retoucher. If you need a button or component to repair your CQFD garment, send your request to the following address: contact@cqfd.com
